Where does your yoga story begin? HA, honestly it all started with the yogatraveltree instagram challenge in March 2014. I wanted to get into yoga back in high school but the classes I tried were (all labeled as general "yoga") yin and restorative. The cardio fiend in me was not a fan and I decided it wasn’t for me. Don’t judge me I was 17 and I didn’t know vinyasa, ashtanga and hatha yoga existed.
What got you hooked? Being challenged to do poses I didn’t think I could do and finding out I could or at least did better than I expected. Also seeing quick improvements with minimal time input and realizing all the cool things I could do if I put in the time. Oh yeah and it feels really good, and calms your mind.
Tell us one weird/interesting fact about yourself: I can’t whistle.
What do you love the most about traveling? Relaxing and running around taking in as much as I can.
Where would you most love to travel and why? I haven’t done the research to find out where exactly (so I’m open to suggestions) but somewhere warm with beaches that isn’t overly touristy.

What’s your number one piece of advice for someone just getting into yoga? You Can Do It!
Anything else? I’m excited to take a 200 hr yoga teacher training as soon as time allows. The benefits to yoga are endless and as a personal trainer and group fit instructor it is one more excited way to share the love.
